EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
The Blink 182 breakup mess is going on-on-on-on-on-on and on-on-on. Lead singer Tom DeLonge left the band earlier this week, rejoined, then was kicked out by fellow members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.
The remaining two band members then teamed up to call DeLonge “ungrateful” and “disrespectful” in an interview with Rolling Stone.
Last night, DeLonge responded on Twitter, painting yet another picture of the factions within the three-piece. The tweet has since been deleted.
Hoppus is at the middle of all this. Tell us what’s happening, Hoppus. (ONTD)
Kim Kardashian has said that her stepdad Bruce Jenner is on a ‘journey’ and is the happiest she’s ever seen him. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Kim alluded to the many, many rumours that Bruce is transgender and is currently transitioning, but refused to comment outright:
We support Bruce no matter what. On this one I will say that Bruce should tell his story his way. I think everyone goes through things in life, but I do think that that story, and what Bruce is going through, he’ll share when the time is right.
Hmm. (TMZ)
Taylor Swift’s private Twitter messages have been leaked after yesterday’s hacking. The singer’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were taken over by the hacking group Lizard Squad, who threatened to release Swift’s nudes n exchange for payment in Bitcoin.
They didn’t have any nudes, but they did take a few screengrabs of Swift’s direct messages. Unfortunately for them, they’re not nearly as salacious as they’d hoped. Here she is chatting with Nick Jonas:
And exchanging compliments with YouTuber PewDiePie:
Some are speculating that the DMs may not even be real - why would a superstar like Swift have no notifications? WELL. (Buzzfeed)
And the rest of the day’s celebrity dirt…
- Chris Pratt may take the lead in a Disney reboot of Indiana Jones. (Jezebel)
- Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis took baby Wyatt for a stroll on the beach. (Mail Online)
- There is going to be a John Hughes musical starring Evan Rachel Wood. (Billboard)
- Lena Dunham and boyfriend Jack Antonoff are probably engaged. (Page Six)
